Gorgeous Rachel! {Mahomet Senior Photographer}

Remember that BFF session from yesterday? Well, this is Rachel. She’s the one who actually booked me for that session. Here are her individual senior pictures. I did her sister’s pictures a couple of years ago and they came back to me for Rachel. These girls are both beautiful, but Rachel has a very different personality from her sister. She’s much more funky and quirky. I love it! My kind of girl!

Here are a few favorites from her session:

BFF Session

I’ve seen these done but had never done one before. Rachel was kind enough to get together a group of her closest friends so I could give it a go. I had the best time ever!! These girls are hilarious and it was fantastic to be able to capture them interacting and just being themselves rather than being nervous in front of the camera. I have a ton to share here. There were just too many good one’s that I simply couldn’t narrow it down.

First, the group shots:

And here are some pretty basic head shots of each of the girls. Don’t you just love the way they coordinated their blues/greens? I thought they did a great job with wardrobe.

And here they are, doing what high school girls do best… texting. My favorite was when the group of two on the left actually called one of the girls in the group of three on the right. So funny!

I just had to put this one in here. This girl just looks like a model. It’s one of my favorite individual shots from the whole session.

After all the fun of modeling, we went for cupcakes. They got kind of crazy with them, but that’s what makes for great shots!

If you’d like to schedule a friend session, contact me. There’s a button right below to schedule. If you do your personal senior portraits with me, you can get the friend session added on for free, and if any of your friends what to schedule a senior session with me, they will receive $50 off their session fee. But this deal won’t last for long! You must schedule before Sept. 30 to take advantage, so call or email now!

[…] every single outfit she brought. If she looks familiar to you, it’s because she was a part of this friend session. Her smile is infectious. I challenge you to look at her photos and not smile […]

Deserving Senior Contest

Senior year is really exciting. And a ton is going on. And it costs a lot of money. Having just come through this with my own senior I totally get it. Yearbooks (when did they start costing $50???), prom, cap and gown, graduation announcements…. and, Senior Portraits. It can really be over whelming for a lot of families. I feel really blessed that pictures were not an over whelming expense for my own daughter. I know a lot of people go with cheap photographers or a family friend in order to save money. I get that. But, I feel really strongly that you get what you pay for in those instances. I am so glad to have beautiful pictures of my daughter and it makes me sad that others have to settle for less than what they would do if money were no object. Unfortunately, I can’t do my work for less because I have a business to run. However, I want to give away a full session to a senior who is outstanding in some way, but unable to otherwise afford great senior pictures. You can nominate a friend, family member, or even yourself. Just click the link below to fill out the form. Can’t wait to start reading your stories!

Nominate a Senior

[…] while back, I posted a call for deserving senior stories. As soon as I read Alli’s story, I knew she had won. I won’t go in to details, but […]

From A Distance {I Heart Faces}

I don’t usually enter my photos into challenges or contests, but I happened to come across the theme for this week’s challenge, From a Distance, and I immediately thought of Katie’s picture. I just had to enter it because I just love this image so much. You are certainly welcome to click on the I Heart Faces logo and go check out the other entrants!

And here is the image. Sigh. Every time I look at it.
